Frequently Asked Questions

What type of portrait and brand photography do you offer?

1

Whether you're a family wanting photographs that actually look like you, a creative building a brand presence, or a professional who needs headshots that open doors — this is the place. Sessions include individual and family portraits, personal branding photography, and business headshots, all made with the same editorial care and personal attention.

Where are sessions held?

2

Most individual portrait, headshot, and small family sessions are held in my studio in Northampton, Massachusetts. Brand sessions are typically held on location — at the place where you work or create — so your images feel rooted in your real world.

How long is a session, and how should I prepare?

3

Most sessions run 1–2 hours — enough time to settle in, enjoy the process, and walk away with something real. For everything you need to know about showing up feeling confident and ready, visit my guide: How to Prepare for Your Headshot or Brand Session.

How many images will I receive?

4

You get to choose. After the $300 session fee, you'll select from digital collections of 5, 10, or 20 images, with the option to add individual files. Most brands find that a collection of 30–45 images covers their website, social media, and print marketing needs comfortably. Portrait clients can also add matted prints to their digital collection.

What does the session fee include?

5

The $300 session fee covers your consultation, your session time, and careful editing and curation of your images into a private online gallery. Digital files and printed artwork are chosen separately — so you only invest in exactly what you want to keep.

How much do clients typically invest?

6

Digital and heirloom collections begin at $800. Most clients invest between $2,500–$4,500 depending on how they plan to use and live with their photographs. I'm happy to talk through what makes sense for your goals before you commit.

How long until I receive my images?

7

Your private online gallery will be ready within two weeks of your session. Once you've made your selections, digital files are delivered by downloadable link. Printed artwork and heirloom pieces are handcrafted and typically arrive within 2–4 weeks.

Do you offer printed artwork?

8

Yes — and I hope you'll consider it. Photographs are meant to be lived with, not just stored on a hard drive. I offer a curated selection of matted prints produced with archival materials, made to last.

Is this the right fit for me?

9

If you want a personal, unhurried experience and imagery that feels authentic rather than performative — yes. I work with a limited number of clients each year so every project gets the attention it deserves. If you're on the fence, I'd love to have a quick conversation before you decide.
